1. Q: Do you rent for 9 month periods?
   A:
   No
   All of our Leases run from June to June (Graduation day to Graduation day)
   
   
2. Q: Do you allow pets?
   A:
   We allow cats and dogs at most properties. Dogs are not allowed at specific properties, because of a lack of yard space or the owner has specifically disallowed it. The charge for dogs & cats is $200.00 per pet, per quarter. This is not refundable. If a pet is discovered without permission there will be $250.00 assessed.
   There is no fee for fish or hamsters
   No rabbits or ferrets
   
   
3. Q: When is rent due?
   A:
   When your lease is for quarterly payments, rent is due on:
   May 1
   August 1
   November 1
   February 1
   Payments which are more than 5 days late, are subject to a 5% fee.(5% of the amount owed is added) Payments which are more than 10 days late are subject to an additional $100.00 fee.
   
   
4. Q: We found a place we want to rent... What do we do now?
   A:
   #1 Call and make an appointment to sign a lease
   #2 Get applications and return them to me.
   Generally, If you make an appointment it's yours and I won't rent it to someone else.
   BUT, If you haven't paid a deposit, you haven't rented it. If you miss your appointment, I will call other interested groups.
   
   
5. Q: How much is the deposit?
   A:
   Deposits range from $300.00 to $500.00 per person
   It is due when you sign the lease.
   Deposits are refunded (less any charges) 30 days after the termination of the lease.
   
   
6. Q: Can we share a bedroom and reduce our rent?
   A: Yes, Doubling up is handled on a case by case basis. Rent savings is also negotiated case by case. The Athens City Code Office designates occupancy levels for each property. These designations may prohibit you from having too many people in a house.
   
   
7. Q: Do the stove and refrigerator come with the house?
   A:
   Yes
   The stove and refrigerator are provided and maintained by Best of Athens Rentals
